American College of Science and Technology (ACOSAT) in Sierra Leone was officially granted full Recognition and mandate to operate legally on the 11th Day of January 2021, by the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) as a Certified Tertiary Education Institution. Our Registration Number is 062. You are welcome to verify our legality to operate as a Higher Institution of Learning. Here is our accreditation certificate.
ACOSAT is Approved by the Sierra Leone Ministry of Technical Education (MTHE)
Be it known by all women and men that, the American College of Science and Technology, located at 33 Circular Rd, Freetown was fully Approved by the Sierra Leone Ministry of Technical Education on September 9th, 2020. We have been granted permission to operate a Technical Training College in Freetown, Sierra Leone. We were approved as a “TVET College for Entrepreneurial and Skills Education in line with the 2004 Education Act and two Strategic Pillars of the adopted 2019 TVET Policy: Enhancing Access to TVET Programs and Developing Skills for Jobs.” Hence our training is entirely Employment and Job Skills Training focused. All students seeking admission to our college must be prepared to study extremely hard in order to leave this college and immediately start working.
